I don't think Lil Mama's Lip Gloss had peaked as a single when she suddenly scored high-profile remix spots on Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend and Rihanna's Umbrella. I wouldn't be surprised if she showed up on the new M.I.A. album and did a live duet with Daft Punk at Keyspan Park later this summer. That said, I think this reggaeton-ish remix breathes new life into the flawless track that got her noticed in the first place.
