On vacation in Buenos Aires right now and eating lots of steaks, so postings will be a little less frequent till Wednesday, when I return for a Spanish-inspired Good Times (RICO SUAVE!)

For steak, be sure to go to La Cabrera or La Cabrera Norte, both with the same menu, on Cabrera at Thames. The ojo de bife or bife de chorizo mariposa are their best cuts, although the pork is also excellent. For seafood, San Antonino in San Telmo (on Chacabuco 1.5 blocks north of San Juan, I think) is an overlooked gem.
