A) When did the Golden Globes become an event that anybody actually cared about and B) Who would miss them if they didn't air?The Golden Globes probably WILL air, although as the NY Times points out, they won't be using guild writers or, maybe more importantly, won't allow the Academy to use vintage Hollywood clips.
Oooooh. I love a good strike fight! Wouldn't it be hot if picketing writers stormed the red carpet and started throwing punches at like, Judi Dench or whoever attends these things. P.S. - I'd be so embarrassed to display that ugly trophy on my mantel. If I had a mantel.
