GOOD TIMES: HONEY BRING IT CLOSE TO MY LIPS YEAH

After a three day holiday weekend such as the recent Memorial Day weekend, you never know what to expect or who to expect but you sort of know that, much like a blizzard night, the folks that are out are sure to go hard (like Rihanna). And the folks that attended last Wednesday's Good Times Guide to Armand Van Helden with me and Michael Magnan were no exception.

Early birdies who were catching the worm in the bottom of the tequila bottle we were drinking that night, as summer is officially here (tequila time) and we can all come together and shout in unison, TEQUILA!

Nip slip from my favorite Brooklynite Paul M. (right), who rarely makes a weeknight appearance in Manhattan but is usually wearing a red or orange tank if he does pop up.

My curiosity about that tattoo that's peeking out is driving me bananas.

I'm going bananas, and I feel like my poor little mind is being devoured by piranhas!

The last of the springtime Henleys.

Kyle (right, with Evans) is making a bold statement with that Hustlaball Staff shirt. It's like, why not just wear a tshirt with your rentboy info on it?

Speaking of bold statement, Natasha informed us of her fantasy to eff a redneck, or, in her own delicate words, she said, "YES HUNTY, I WANNA GO TO THE SOUTH AND FIND ME A BIG OL' REDNECK WHOSE GONNA LYNCH ME AND FUCK ME."

...and then we have the young and innocent ones. Hi Steven!

HAIR COLORIST AFTER HOURS, with Mel and Gina.

So so happy that Eric has found himself a job that doesn't require turning at 7am, which means maybe we'll see him out and about more than two times a year.

Yes hunty. Mike Diamond's pubes is layed hunty, yes!

Meanwhile, the Armand Van Helden tuneage was making queens sweat (left) and touch themselves (right). Rumba!

We will never erase the image of Aalap (left, with Michael) showing up to the Metro Bar Sunday barbecue in a tutu a few years back, which he told us was the result of "losing a dare." Ummmm, waiting for you to lose that dare again soon, hunty!

That's me! Talkin' Portland and Portlandia with Frank. I'm DJing Metropolitan again on Friday, June 17 for all my BK heads. And if you can't wait that long (or make it out on a Wednesday. Helloooooooo!), I'm opening again at Wahwee this Saturday at the old Opaline, which was bumpin' this past Saturday.

Ex-rave queen Peter G. (left) would never pass up an AVH par-tay, even if we lack the essential subwoofers required for bringing that drum 'n' bass remix of Aaliyah's One in a Million to life.

FLOWERZ in the (Chuck) Attix.

Mustaches are the new beard, or the summer alternative to a winter beard, as exemplified by Eddie, Stephen and Andreas (from left).

Our sting operation to catch a predator worked!

GOOD TIMES AT EASTERN BLOC! starring Michael Magnan as the Witch Doktor (WOOP!)

Gary (left) and his man, who may or may not have given him that cute hickey but also gave me grief for being a "facebook suggested friend." Blame facebook!

YES HUNTY! Bill shaved down to a thin-lined beard in honor of Armand's look for much of his 90s career. This is when we play the AVH remix of Spin Spin Sugar and rejoice.

She's back from Hawaii and ready for summer! But aren't we all?

Mel and a cute greek boy who felt the wrath of Mel's drunken hugs.

Stoked for next week's disco Good Times party with a very special DJ friend from Philly who goes by the moniker DJ Apt One? We are. Apt One does some of the sickest re-edits and remixes of like, Diana Ross and whatnot and nothing says summer like some sweaty disco.

Shade.

And then it turned into this...

...which is when this began to happen.

See you next week at a special Philly disco installment of Good Times! xo, Sparber

PS - THE CAMERA AND BIRTHDAY PHOTOS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED! Stay tuned...
