TWERKING RADIO #8: AN EDUCATION WITH AUSTIN DOWNEY

Austin Downey once ruled NYC nightlife, DJing at Tunnel, Limelight and Palladium. Then he took 10 years off and went from creating NYC noises complaints to handling them as a manager at 311. With his recent return to the decks, we sat down with him at Twerking Radio to talk dancefloor dubs, clubland and to dish on his good friends Frankie Knuckles and his former roommate DJ Lina. Josh,

It was a pleasure and a HOOT to sit down and chat with you on TWERKING RADIO!

As much ground as we covered, we only scratched the surface of what makes our city so wonderful and our music scene so enduring.

For my part, I'm truly blessed to be back in the game with the help of talented friends like yourself.

YOU BETTA TWERK!
