GOOD TIMES: SCISSORING WITH SAMMY JO

Downtown DJ-to-the-stars Sammy Jo now lives in Barcelona and tours the world with the Scissor Sisters, which sometimes makes us sad because we wish we could head to the Slide or Mr. Black to hear him play but we're really really happy for him. We swear. We were even happier when he returned last week to guest at our weekly Wednesday Good Times party at Eastern Bloc, along with a special performance from the pumps princess herself Erickatoure Aviance.

Number one New York nightlife photographer Jeff (right) has been spotted four nights this week by yours truly. We attended the Paradise Garage reunion together on Saturday, hung at Tommy Hotpants' new Sunday thing at Woody's and again at G on Tuesday when I DJed. Jeff' 4 president!

Is that a Horse Meat Disco shirt he's teasing us with? Unicorn Meat Disco? Sadly Horse Meat's Severino broke his wrist (condolences!) and postponed his Good Times date till March 2 :(

WORK ERICKA! Erickatoure (center) arrived in a timely fashion and soothed her nerves with a cocktail or two before getting ready to perform her worldwide hit, I'm Grown and I Do What I Want.

Our last Good Times with the greek Georges before they flew back to Athens. Who's flying me to Greece for the summer???

Carhartt jackets = SASL. (straight acting straight looking. Pronounced sazzle.)

This one on the right did the best impression of Casey (left) I've ever heard in my life. Something about TWIRL PEARL. Ask either to recite it. You won't regret. PS - Casey is O.G. sazzle. Avenue D projects, y'all.

FILAKIA!

Fernando (right) made a rare Wednesday appearance in the midst of an icy January here in New York, a far cry from the temperatures back in his homeland of Paraguay. Or is it Uruguay.

It's official: Cherie Lily (right) is the nicest person on earth! She came out to support her dear friend Ericka and size up Good Times, as we're hoping she'll perform soon unless she goes on yet another world tour. Meanwhile, her good friends Tayisha Busay are performing at next week's Good Times with our Fire Island partner in crime Kevin Graves guest DJing.

Back from Berlin and sporting a sexy beard. Never leave us again, Darren. Seriously.

Since we gave Sammy Jo the directive to play anything his heart desires, he turned us out with tracks by Hannah Holland, Paul Devro remixes and a bit of pop to boot.

"GO AHEAD AND CALL ME FAG HAG, YOU CAN CALL ME NELLY, YOU CAN CALL ME PEANUT BUTTER ALL IT MEANS IS THAT YOU'RE JELLY. (GET IT.)"

"WHY YOU WALKIN' 'ROUND TALKIN' TRASH, TALKIN' TALKIN' SMACK!"

"I'M ALWAYS HIKING UP MY SKIRT CUZ I GOT A LOT TO FLAUNT!"

"BIIIIIITCH, I'M GROWN AND I'LL DO WHAT I WANT!" Ericka fucking turned it!!!!!

Ericka fucking turned it!!!!!

Miguel and Andy, chillaxing after that whirlwind of a performance. Andy and I conspired to have Ericka perform again later in the night and she did start runwaying when I played My Pumps but Kelvin was unusually out of it last Wednesday, much to my chagrin.

Sandwich her up, boys!

Keisha's lovely makeup artists, who she occasionally brings out to beat her face when touch ups are required.

FYI, next Wednesday is Kevin F.'s birthday (center) and Kevin Graves and I are going all out on the pop that he loves, as well as some Florence and Lykke, which Kevin Graves has in heavy rotation now that he is a London resident.

Ericka nestled Mel (right) till the end of the night, when we packed it in and stumbled home through the cold. Thanks again Ericka! You are the best.

See you next week for Kevin's birthday and Kevin Graves and TAYISHA BUSAY! xoxo
