...that that Brooklyn bastion of gaiety known as Metropolitan Bar has been shuttered due to a slightly expired liquor license. Not sure if this is 100 percent true or how long this closure will last, but we were looking very much forward to a Sunday BBQ out on the porch this week or next. Maybe Excelsior will pick up the slack. Please leave comments with any info.UPDATE - According to a comment on Eater, Metro is back up and running. That was almost as stressful as the time Julius' was shuttered for 24 hours.
