Ms. Gaga is revving up for her album's re-release, complete with eight new songs to bring out with her when she goes on tour this winter. One particular track, Alejandro, caught my ear with an all-too-familiar jingle that comes from none other than Ace of Base! I'm not certain if this is sampling or simply inspiration but I cut the tracks up into snippets so you can hear the similarities.

Fernando and Alejandro sound like Abba references anyhow, the main inspiration for Ace of Base's existence, so I'm guessing this is the Lady's form of an homage. And good work, because Alejandro is catchy as all hell! Alé-Alé-Alejandro, Alé-Alé-Alejandro...

yeah, same happened to me.. since i heard alejandro i was listennig dont turn around so, i made a kinf of mix of both songs and they are really like each other, buth without the alejandro jeje
