Midway, the East Village club space where Save the Robots once happened before it became Guernica and some douche stabbed a bouncer for telling him to put out a cigarette when the smoking ban went into effect, is closing. I went to a few shows at this space when it was called Scenic but never really thought it lived up to its potential as a live music space or potential club space. Please buy it and bring club culture back to Avenue B.
