AS GAY AS IT GETS
A quick survey of gay summer music, aka music heard at every bar, club and tea dance in Provincetown this weekend, as well as listed in HX and Next's most recent DJ top ten and often heard playing at David Barton gym, reveals that gays still love their old timers (Madonna, Donna Summer, Cyndi Lauper) and their black divas (Jennifer Hudson, Solange Knowles). Here's the gay promo cd I never got a copy of:
1. Cyndi Lauper - Into the Nightlife (gay club mix)
2. Donna Summer - Stamp Your Feet (gay club mix)
3. Madonna - Give It To Me (gay club mix)
4. Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up (gay club mix)
5. Cyndi Lauper - Same Ol' Story (gay club mix)
6. Ida Corr vs. Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It (gay club mix)
7. Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight (gay club mix)
8. Solange Knowles - I Decided (gay club mix)
One through five were inescapable up in P-Town. Six is still the bomb, though its a bit played since it debut in January. And Solange and Destiny's Child soloist Michelle Williams (not listed) are just getting started, with albums newly available on the interent.

Danity Kane's "Damaged" should be on this list too.
Well, I do not actually imagine it is likely to have success.
