JR ROTEM, SECRETLY HOT?

Or am I as crazy as Britney? No. He looks good in the picture. And he just remixed Nicole Scherzinger (of Pussycat Dolls "fame") sleep hit of the year, Baby Love. Talk about a catchy chorus.

GOOD TIMES: BUTTERBALL

Thanksgiving Eve is one of those nights that everyone in the city goes out because they don't have work the next day. Good Times at Eastern Bloc was no exception.

When Good Times gets started at 10pm, you usually have your happy hour holdovers and maybe a birthday party or something, which is probably where these straight-looking folks came along.

"Put your hands up for New York! Our lovely city!" Just kidding. I didn't even play that song. These are just Sure women. As in the deodorant Sure.

Reasons #37 and #38 to come to Eastern Bloc: We promise you glasses instead of plastic cups and french kisses (if you stay late enough).

It's funny cuz later on when the place was packed to capacity, my friend was like, "I brought my lady friend and we can't even find any ladies!" If only they had arrived earlier.

Michael (right) is a friend who was out celebrating with these revelers for the dude on the left's birthday. Birthday boy was like, "PLAY BRITNEY'S RADAR SONG. It's my birthday and what I say goes!"

EXTREME CLOSE-UP! Wayne's World style.

...and then the bar magically transformed into Scores.

Christian (right) and friend talked turkey. Get it? Buh dum bum.

Is something burning over in this part of the bar? Because I definitely smell firecrotch.

Valdez (right), with his ex-boyfriend I believe, who looks like he may or may not have been a member of Take That, the British boy band.

So that masses rolled in around 11pm or so and were intent on drinking until Turkey time the next day.

Did you know that I traveled to the Philippines two years ago? Hence my big Filipino following.

Brian (right) is from the same town as me. I met him through Patches (left), who is taking a break from being photographed, though I think he looks quite stunning from this angle.

Forest is newly single and ready to mingle! He is also an ex-frat boy from the midwest who likes to work out and design magazines. And his name is Forest!

This one asked me if the line outside the DJ booth was for people waiting to talk to me. I'm pretty he was referring to the bathroom line though.

Lorenzo made a rare Eastern Bloc appearance on his 41st birthday, though he barely looks 30. Happy Birthday Lorenzo!

I bet this is from when I started playing La Bouche's Sweet Dreams. People go bonkers for that track.

Jason (left) is moving to LA on the 29th, which means that this coming Wednesday is your last chance to see him! Hopefully, the handsomeness that is Ross (right) will still drop by.

Can you tell that I took these pictures with a new camera? What do you think? Should I keep it or return it in the next seven days?

There is something very wax museum about this two.

Scott (right) and his Dutch boy have been honeymooning it up all over the East Village.

Well hello! The dude on the left is like, why are you taking my picture and Charlie (right) is like, how can I get more free drinks tonight?

JR (right, with Ritter and Charlie), making his best constipation face.

Our genius graphic designer Marc (right), is responsible for all of the Good Times fliers you've seen so far. Thank you Marc. You are the best.

Wrestling at Good Times, and DJ Jimmy missed it! Don't worry folks. Jimmy will be back in December.

I love this pic. She is all kissy faced for the camera and he is like, can you please play something a little more emo?

Frank (right) had a bow-tied friend visiting from Boston who was really feeling the party. I'm really feeling his bow tie, which is going to be the white belt of '08. Mark my words.

I'm guessing the dude on the right won Eva's Pumpkin Pageant that went down in Brooklyn a week or two ago. Or maybe he wears a sash every night that says Pumpkin Princess.

Jason (left), shedding tears that this is his second to last Good Times party. Until he realizes that he hates LA and moves back to NYC. P.S. - What's going on on that bench to the right?

After storming off because I wouldn't play Britney's Radar twice, Valdez (left) returned and got naked in the DJ booth while me and Ann Talley (right) watched speechlessly.

I really need to learn how to set my Lumix camera so the foreground AND background are illuminated. Sorry!

Davyde (left) is Canadian so I'm sure this whole Thanksgiving thing is a bit nonsensical to him. Chaz (right) was too stoned to even realize Thanksgiving was upon us.

David Davis, in the middle of a threesome. How surprising.

Look! Kelvin (right) and I both wore Gucci shirts by coincidence. What are the odds?

WILL DJ FOR MONEY!

Last week, a good friend at Nylon Magazine called in a favor and asked me to DJ an in-store event at the Burton store in Soho. I meant to post the flier for the event before it actually happened, but it ended up being a women's winter wardrobe party anyway, so you may or may not have been into it. The staffers were hot though.

JOHN ROBERTS, COMEDIC GENIUS

Not the supreme court justice, dummy. The Friday night DJ from the Cock.

BUTTERBALL, TONIGHT!

THE END OF THE ROAD, ER, AVENUE

The lovely ladies of Avenue D, Daphne (left) and Debbie, have finally called it quits. These two got their start at Larry Tee's Berliniamsburg parties with their hit song, Do I Look Like a Slut. They went to school with one of my ex's in Miami and Debbie once told me that they their music was kind of a joke before they went on to sell 50,000 records. She also told me that if I ever mentioned she was once a goth, she'd totally beat me up. I love you Debbie!

Daphne is now married and both can be seen frequently attending good dance parties around New York City. Sadly, they both moved off of Avenue D and out of the East Village long long ago. They're playing a farewell show in Brooklyn on December 1st, and might or might not drop their very first single, which was produced by a ghettotech DJ I once loved named DJ Salinger. PUMP, ME FULL OF, CUM! PUMP ME FULL OF CUM!

Avenue D - Hey Boy

SONG OF THE WEEK: SHOE FANATIC

I'm not sure if I'm only into this jam because it's about a shoe obsession, but when I played it at the Burton in-store this evening, this very ho-hum American lady was like, this song is BRILLIANT! I concur. And even though I wouldn't be mad if Cherish went down as a one-hit wonder for their 2006 single Do It, I'm rooting for their follow-up.

Cherish - Shoe Fanatic

ISN'T SHE LOVELY

Yes, I have many anonymous crushes for many different reasons and here is a rare photo of one of them. This one can sometimes be seen singing to him/herself quite loudly (read: belting it out) around the East Village. Snapped in some strange Halloween get-up.

WEEKEND MAURY AMAZINGNESS

"WHY DEY ALWAYS POOP IN MY HAIR???"

REGGAETON HOTNESS FACTOR?

I vote Pitbull (on the left) and its not cuz his music is way better. Chris Stone says hands down Daddy Yankee (on the right).
Thoughts?

ISRAELI DIPLOMATS, NOW IN SPANDEX

Former Israeli consulate employee cum porn star Roman Ragazzi, now modeling spandex suits and assless singlets. Stock up for next Halloween early.

WILD THING

Peaches and Tone Loc. Together. On stage. Too bad their Wild Thing remix duet doesn't sound so hot. I kind of think Tone Loc should be a phone sex operator though. His voice is the sexiness.

GOOD TIMES: BORN SLIPPY

The most remarkable song of my set last night was, as predicted, Underworld's Born Slippy, made famous in the finale of the now-classic Trainspotting. Expect to hear it every week until Lil Mama finally puts out a full-length album.

Doorguy Scot's "friend" Jozua is in town from the Netherlands. If you've ever spoken to Scot, you probably know about Dutch boy, who, as it turns out, is really really cute.

At 10pm, you always have a happy hour crowd who doesn't really want to leave but doesn't won't stay out late either. This is that crowd.

Bartender Sammy (left) was looking all types of adorable last night. Who knew he had a tongue piercing?

Those arms! Those dimples! His friend can try to lean out of the pic all he'd like. I'm too distracted to even notice.

Tristan (left) brought Tiffany out after a screening of a film she's in called "T." Tiffany is the most gorgeous girl ever, though she nearly fell asleep after a long day of promoting T, a film about transsexuals.

Tristan was all, "I loved me some naughty school boy Michael (from Halloween)," and I was all, "He's here! At the other the bar," looking a bit more demure.

These two ladies were making out all over the bar for a large part of the evening, though I'll spare you the photographic evidence.

Everybody Loves Eva, now playing Wednesdays at Eastern Bloc.

Apparently gray is the new black.

Is the guy on the right sporting a mullet? I feel like I'm looking at an M.C. Escher image.

Ann was trying to tell me that I knew who this person was, but I think I'd remember if I had ever met him. Unless I was drunk, that is.

Ross (left) and I are muy triste that Jason (right) is moving to LA in two weeks. On a happier note, I hope to be visiting LA in the next six months. DJ gigs, anyone?

This ho was screaming and dancing and singing into that portable fan for a good four hours or more.

I owe Matt (right) my first-born son for lending me his fancy camera for two weeks now. Unfortunately for Matt, I won't me having a first-born son. Sorry Matt!

The crazy ho's friend (left) was all sorts of hot but was angrily hitting light bulbs throughout the bar. Major turn off.

A distinguished gentleman attending our distinguished Good Times party.

I missed me some Ann Talley! Which is why I tried to make like, four different dates with her for the coming month.

Hi Christian! You don't have to leave early to get up for work next Wednesday because it's Thanksgiving Eve, aka biggest party night of the YEAR!

Kelvin just got a job down the street at Le Souk. Maybe he will become their first male belly-and-booty dancer.

Transfixed by shirtless men on the television.

This is my favorite picture of the whole evening. Whatever these two are telling her, she's like, WOWZERS!

Yuki (left) and Jeff are two of my favorite people in the whole wide world of gay lower Manhattan.

Crazy ho got crazier and crazier and started yelling, SCISSOR SISTERS! I DONT FEEL LIKE DANCING! Though, ironically, she really really did feel like dancing.

Puerto Rican thievery!

These two can't WAIT for Good Times' Hannukah Party, coming December 5th, two weeks from now. Get out your yarmulkes...

He's so asking him where he can cop a hoodie like dat. And he's really saying "dat."

Extreme closeups don't usually come out as well as this but these three can do no harm to any camera lens. Well, Charlie (left) could if he was drunk enough.

This one is looking F.R.E.S.H. Please come again, kind sir.

Scruffy the vampire slayers.

Luc (left) is king of the deep V's, though this shirt takes it to a whole other level.

Maybe we should have a plaid party. Who doesn't love plaid?

And then she was fall-down drunk.

The party got started really late last night, apparently because every gay in NYC was home watching the Project Runway premiere. Thankfully, they came out in droves by 1am.

If my blog had a caption contest, this pic would be perfect. Tell it to my heart, Luc.

This cute pocket gay wouldn't let me take his photo, but I told him that if he wanted his Radiohead request honored, he had to strike a pose.

Kelvin's request was for Sir Mix-a-Lot's Baby Got Back. Seriously.

My friend Jason swore that this dude was Gawker Media Emperor Nick Denton. And since Jason has been on Gawker like, 200 times this month, we only thought it'd be fitting to return the favor. Sadly, it turned out to just be a late night boozer.

Quinn (right) and Jason stuck it out in hopes of a late-night pole dance guest appearance, which never materialized.

True love was found sitting near the exit at 3am. Yes, Scot's 47 and Jozua is 23, but just like Aaliyah said, age ain't nothing but a number.

--

See you next week for our Thanksgiving Eve Butter Ball. And don't forget - Hannukah party in two weeks. Flier to follow. If you want to join the jew crew and get free drinks, let me know.
