BOSTON BEAR-AOKE

The East Village bear den that was Big Lug might be dead, but the grizzlies are alive and singing up at The Alley, a Boston bear bar that hosts karaoke every Sunday.

My good friend Andrew (pictured here) celebrated his birthday last weekend and invited me up so I could witness his killer rendition of Stevie Nicks' "Stand Back."

When not singing, I took in the scenery, including the fashionable Timberlands-and-shorts look hitting Boston right now.

This is Chip, who was the hottest guy at the bar, though Andrew swore Chip had a prosthetic leg.

Boston's world-famous skyline is painted along one wall of the bar. Gay!

I sang Heart's "Alone" and basically lost my voice after that.

Luckily, there wear leather daddies in rubber boots to entertain us.

Rachel and Jeff, looking quite entertained.

Tommy (right) works at the Ritz. He befriended us rather quickly and apparently rubbed Andrew's belly. He also sang Liza Minnelli's version of "New York, New York" and dedicated it to Andrew for his birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW, YOU OLD SLAG!

GOOD TIMES: EMAIL MY HEART

Those who didn't attend the Justin Timberlake concert at Madison Square Garden last night packed the house at Eastern Bloc for our "Save Britney" benefit. Oh, and our party has become such a success that the owners have offered us our very own Wednesday night go-go dancer. I say a little nudity can only add to the party. What do you think? Let us know in the comment section.

Aron (left) and friend are total dreamboat psychiatrists. Could you imagine getting a psychiatry referral and turning up in their offices? I wouldn't be able to concentrate.

Christian only stuck around for one drink last night. If I were a serious photographer, he'd totally be my muse.

Charlie (left, with David), doing the universal "Where's the coke at?" sign.

Bunny ears! Man oh man is the guy in the middle gonna pissed when he realizes he totally got bunny eared by a stranger.

DJ Jimmy and I don't take many of each other anymore. Jimmy, however, still LOVES to snap his own self-portrait from time to time.

Did you hear the one about the gay frosh at NYU?

Gucci, bitches. It brings home the boys.

Who knew that this hot Brazilian guy has lived on my block for the past four years. Not I, said the fly.

My three amigos, Kevin, Kevin and Willy (from left).

I think at this point, Eva (East Village Andrew, left) was miming the entire "How Will I Know" video for anyone who would watch.

Watch out for my big, gay Rosh Hashana party, which I want Adam (right) to host with me this coming September.

We're gonna rope Doni (left) into the jew festivities too cuz he is king jew, recently back from a goyish year in Tennessee.

The hotness that is Ashton made an appearance in all white. Labor day is rapidly approaching people!

Kevin showed off his robin hood boots, which are really hard to see without a flash in a dark, crowded bar.

Nate (left) brought along a friend whose name I can't remember but reminds me of a younger, hotter, skinnier Ron Jeremy. But it's probably just the moustache.

I think this guy promised to get naked if Jimmy played Rihanna's "Umbrella," which he so did.

Greg doesn't care about our $3 vodka special cuz he's Swiss and only drinks beer by the pint.

Luc (right) and I discussed the prospect of our long, lost hairburner friend Jeff Chastain returning to New York two weeks from now. Start stockpiling the Egg McMuffins.

This is my favorite picture of the week. These guys were mid-dance move when I snapped this. Then they were like, "Was that a good one?" and went right back to cutting a rug.

Eric kind of just moved here from San Francisco but is already more well acquainted with New York City gay nightlife than me.

Patches (left) and Quinn started me on an 80s kick that lasted from 2am till closing time.

Another mover and shaker, caught on digicam.

Doesn't this guy look like the pocket gay version of Perez Hilton? The music is quite loud at this point so maybe he's just pretending to be on the phone.

I'm feeling the Sally Jesse Raphael glasses on the right.

No! Don't go back to Brooklyn! Stay for one more drink.

Christian Collins (second from right) and posse might look like they're en route to Beige, but they're actually into the party.

James Ryan (left) almost had his entire shirt unbuttoned when he showed up last night (trend alert for next summer?). James Barch (right) was like, I don't need to SEE that!

Kyle dances at Eastern Bloc on weekends and hangs out there on weekdays. Come say hey.

Domestic partnership, anyone? James Ryan and Matthew Luke have moved in together and can now be seen holding hands down Avenue B.

---

So should we get a go-go dancer or what? Also, I'm DJing the Cock this Sunday and Eastern Bloc next Wednesday AND Thursday. Come get drunk with me.

BRAZIL, LOVE IT OR HATE IT

Sometimes, I get mad when I think about Brazil and how my wallet got stolen when I was there last year.

And sometimes, I see hot Brazilian models and think, god, I really wanna go back there. Click here or here for more pics of the hotness that is Saulo Melo.

GOOD TIMES: SAVAGE LOVE!

How cool was our Eastern Bloc party last night? Like, apart from being Good Times (such an appropriate name), we had not one but TWO air conditioners turning it out all night. Oh, and a packed house of handsome men turned it out as well.

Frenchman Ludo (left) initiated recent New York transplant Fabrice into the Wednesday ritual of Good Times.

Tommy (left) showed off his new boyfriend Steve even though they've been dating for almost a year and are moving in together. Hermits!

Sideboob alert!

Frank (right) is celebrating his birthday this week and confessed that he's a big lesbian who loves loves loves Aimee Mann. Then his cute coworker friend (left) was like, I started crying this week while listening to Tori Amos at my desk.

I told these guys about the best blog ever, twerking.blogspot.com, and we started looking at it on their blackberry. And now I'm writing about looking at my own blog. How meta.

I love the hot porn star-y guy on the left. There. I said it.

Matt the Baker (right) broke out the vintage Burberry. Like, vintage circa 2000. So fashion forward.

Binh (left) was all riled by by the "21 year olds" hanging out at another local gay bar he had visited before Eastern Bloc.

Kevin, bringing sexy back one hoodie at a time.

Speaking of 21 year olds, David (right) chatted one up last night. I love how Dave's "friend" is making a jazz hands pose.

Birthday boy Stephen Savage was a bit late to his own party but nobody seemed to mind, since he's the handsomest, most eligible bachelor in all the East Village. HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVIE! (or is it Stephie?)

More 21 year olds in the hizz-ouse! Sean Christian (right) represented for the FLA while his friend represented for white guys who wear do-rags.

Is this guy winking or does the flash only affect one of his eyes?

Craig (left) partied it up with a chap who I swear I've seen a million times but have no idea where.

Some people have been complaining that I only post pretty, posed pictures so I'd like to take this opportunity to give you a fetching photo of David. Insert your own caption here.

This guy came up to me looking sooooooo cute and all, but had to ruin it by saying, can I make one request? And I said, sure, as long as it's not Rihanna, and he was all, how did you know?!?!

The handsomeness that is Greg (right) brought out his coworker Boris. I was like, is Boris Eastern European and he was like, how did you know? Ummmm, hi. His name is Boris.

Jimmy had some handsome friends in town from Calgary (pictured above), who, as luck would have it, is also 21!

The classic "grind up on it with blackberry in hand."

Jorge (or is it George, left) is such a looker. His talents include balancing beer bottles on his straw hat.

Are the glasses half empty or half full. I say go order another round. NOW.

You know you've made it in NYC when DJ Lina (right) comes to your party and compliments you! Kiana (left) and Ms. Burke worked it out too, making the party a smashing success.

Yeah, there are more pictures than usual this week, but that's because lots of hot men like these two showed up. Fire Island ain't got NOTHIN' on us.

Exiting the bathroom, making that "it wasn't me" face.

Yes, they're wearing matching shirts and yes, they're getting primal. I'd say the date went well.

Kiana and more hotness from a dude I wish I had spoken to.

Matching salmons!

NO PICTURES! PLEASE! When you tell a photographer you don't want your pic taken, he's just gonna end up posting a bad pic of you so you might as well pose.

More funny faces! More entertaining than hot guys posing, right?

Latifah (left) is the shit! I wish she came to my party every week. Oh, and for all my lady readers, she's newly single. Get in line!

I'm guessing he's 21, but I really have no idea.

DJ Jimmy, looking tanner than ever, pumps up the jams (and the iron!) with the support of team homo.

4am. Winding down. This guy is like, PLEASE PLAY BEYONCE'S IRREPLACEABLE. ILL BLOW YOU IN THE DJ BOOTH. I was like, go home.

Actually, I made him take a picture of this couple that was still making out when the music stopped and the lights came up. Doorman Scot got his flashlight all up in the camera and was like, GO HOME, RETARD!

Yours truly, peacing out for the night. See you next Wednesday!
